Both men were talented singers and experienced entertainers; both men were attractive and charismatic. Their strong general audience appeal quickly put them in the spotlight. With Capitol, they recorded mostly covers—their own interpretation and spin on standards, popular songs, movie theme songs, and songs from Broadway.
